In preparation for a major cervical surgery, it came out that I had serious infections at the roots of 2 of my front teeth. There was concern about the infections being so close to the surgery site. I was not a preexisting patient of Dr. Sawyers. From my first call to the office, the receptionist patiently listened to my situation and concerns. I was given an “emergency appointment” and from that appointment forward I was treated with complete dignity and kindness. There is a diligence to do what is best for the patient that is very appreciated, and obviously the office philosophy. In no way did I feel rushed, or that money was the main concern, but rather that my well being was at the forefront of the work we were doing. The staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Sawyer has a calming presence, and is extremely patient in walking you through what is going on, offering options of how to move forward. My particular situation presented challenges which were handled with top notch professionalism and care. It is refreshing to receive such quality medical service, and unfortunately often rare these days. I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Sawyer & his staff.

I was sent to Dr.Sawyer by my dentist after discovering a root canal was needed. Angel, at the front desk, was impossibly kind and helpful in explaining everything to me. The procedure itself was completely painless and non-intimidating; it lasted a little over one hour. Their office is pristine, and both Dr. Sawyer and Kari were quietly impressive with their skills. Kari is patient and overwhelmingly kind. Dr.Sawyer was both gentle and knowledgeable. I would recommend this practice to anyone at any age.

Unfortunately, I had to come to Dr. Sawyer to redo my root canal. I wish I had come to him first. This root canal was so easy I wish I had come to him first. I could have gone to sleep in his chair as he worked. There was no pain and his staff was so pleasant. I tell everyone I know, if you need a root canal go to Dr. Sawyer, he is wonderful.

My doctor/ bro suggested I see Dr. Robicheaux in Slidell to take care of my swollen gums from grinding my teeth. Dr. Robicheaux sent me to one of his staff dentists who after exams sent me to Sawyer Endodontics. I appreciate Dr.Allen's straight forward answers to my questions. His crew is very efficient and understanding 'cept Crystal who thinks she is taller than she is!

This office is peaceful from the moment you walk in. Staff is all kind and efficient and Dr. Sawyer is calming by himself. I have been here more than I would have cared to be but I will not go elsewhere for my root canals. Never had an issue.

I recently had my first visit with Dr. Allen Sawyer, who was recommended by both my dentist and periodontist. I was promptly taken care of by his friendly and very capable staff. Dr. Sawyer was professional, friendly and took the time to give me a detailed explanation of further treatment. Very encouraging and comforting.

The first impression walking into Dr Sawyer’s office was great. The office is comfortable and inviting. The office staff was amazing. They were extremely accommodating and professional. Whatever you think about having a root canal is far from what you experience when Dr Allen Sawyer does one for you. I experienced NO pain, not even when he gave me the numbing shot. It was all done in an hour. He is knowledgeable and skilled as is his assistant, Karli. The Best!

I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Sawyer's practice to anyone. A wonderful experience. I was greeted by Angel and Kimmy, two charming ladies who are as pulchritudinous as they are professional. Angel got me registered on the computer and took my blood pressure as we joked and teased each other. Then Kimmy took me to the "stand up x-ray" machine and patiently and cheerfully explained it to me. It's basically an MRI for teeth, and it costs more than a new house. Finally, I was attended to by Dr. Sawyer. Soft spoken and gentle, he performed some chemical and tactile explorations on my aching tooth. Then he went over the x-rays and MRI with me, and it was determined that a root canal was not necessary. He wrote a prescription for me, and a week later I was good as new!

I was in the most severe pain I'd ever experienced; until … I went to initially see Dr. Thomas Bailey of Bailey Family Dentistry and after a great experience and diagnosis with their team he referred me to Dr. Allen Sawyer, D.M.D. for a root canal. I was able to secure an appointment the next day and was immediately prescribed medication for the pain until the appointment. Their staff was very friendly, professional and empathetic to my obvious pain. I was able to fill out all the forms online the day before, which was a nice convenience and saved time. Upon my arrival for the appointment I reviewed some consent forms and electronically signed and was taken in for x-rays. I was impressed with their 3D x-ray machine which shows you all angles to review and assess problems. The root canal operation went extremely smooth – no pain at all – and was finished within 20 minutes or so. I was even able to play tennis that night! Extremely impressed with Dr. Sawyer and his staff and would highly recommend to anyone.
